The official size of a Cornhole game is 120 cm x 60 cm. To be exact, the dimensions are 121.9 cm x 61 cm, as the official standard is based on inches: 48 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 12 inches high.
On the European market, however, most boards are produced in the size of 120 x 60 cm, with a rear height of around 30 cm.
Boards are typically made from birch plywood and are often painted or finished in light colors. The board should have a consistent surface and be even and stable. The hole should be 15 cm in diameter (officially 6 inches, which equals 15.24 cm) and centered approximately 22 cm from the top edge (9 inches or 22.9 cm).
The official weight of a Cornhole board is between 6 and 9 kg (15–20 pounds). Weight matters not only for portability and setup but also for ensuring that the board stays firmly in place during play.
Cornhole Bag Size and Weight
Cornhole bags should measure 15 x 15 cm (6 x 6 inches, equivalent to 15.24 x 15.24 cm). The official weight range is between 450 and 570 grams (16–20 ounces). Bags are typically made from canvas or synthetic leather and are filled with either corn kernels or plastic pellets.
It’s important that the bags are filled to the correct weight and are not overfilled, to maintain consistent gameplay and meet competition standards.
